What is Self-Assessment Week?

Lecturio’s Self-Assessment Week was created to help students measure their preparedness and get firsthand experience in a simulated USMLE® testing environment. The self-assessment test is based on the latest NBME® standards and includes 160 case questions, organized into 4 blocks. Each block is 60 minutes long – just like the USMLE® Step 1 & 2 CK exams.

To provide an accurate comparison to previous self-assessments, all students who complete the self-assessment will receive a 3-digit score. While Step 1 has officially moved to a pass/fail scoring system, a Lecturio 3-digit score of 196+ is equivalent to a passing score on the actual Step 1 exam.

“I took the lecturio self-assessment towards the end of my dedicated Step 1 studies. It gave me a great picture of what topics I needed to review to finish strong in my studies, while also giving me a boost of confidence of what I already know. The assessment is shorter than Step 1, but it was long enough and well-encompassed the topics expected to be tested on the actual Step 1.”
